“My experiences with HOS have been nothing if not positive. I had not done a great deal of co-writing with many people (foreign or domestic) prior to working with the HOS exchange artists. What little reservation I had was quickly erased after working with Anne Janelle, Samae Koskinen and Kristina Anna Neilson.  All three experiences were good for me, in the way that it took me out of my comfort zone (or comfortable rut) and entered into an unknown place with each of them. With every person I wrote with we started and finished a song in one session. Not only did we get some new songs out of our sessions, I was able to forge new friendships. I look forward to going to see where they come from, reconnect, and write with them in the future.”

“Weber’s a master of narrative and image in his songs, capturing slight, glinting moments that pass so tentatively by.” – Austin Chronicle.
